All products supplied by RB73 UK are backed by a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty, giving you confidence in your purchase and peace of mind after installation.

1. Warranty Coverage

All RB73 products come with a 2-year warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Faults in materials
  • Issues arising under normal, intended use

If a valid claim is identified, we may offer:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Replacement parts

All warranty claims are handled directly by RB73 UK.


2. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover issues resulting from:

  • Incorrect installation
  • Misuse or neglect
  • Use in unsuitable environments
  • Failure to follow operating instructions
  • Normal wear and tear

Examples include:

  • Surface corrosion beyond expected weathering
  • Damage caused by improper fuel use
  • Overfiring or excessive heat exposure
  • Physical damage caused during use or handling

 

 


🔥 3. Consumable Components (Woodburning Appliances)

Outdoor woodburning appliances operate under extremely high temperatures. Fire is a naturally destructive force, and certain internal components are designed to protect the main structure of the appliance by absorbing heat and wear over time.

The following parts are considered consumable items and are not covered under warranty:

  • Fire bricks / firebox linings
  • Baffle or deflector plates
  • Glass panels

These components are designed to:

  • Protect the body of the stove
  • Regulate heat and airflow
  • Extend the overall lifespan of the appliance

 

 


Maintenance & Replacement

Over time, these parts will naturally:

  • Crack
  • Warp
  • Discolour
  • Degrade with use

This is expected and does not indicate a fault.

To maintain performance and protect your appliance, these components should be inspected regularly and replaced as required.


Important Usage Warning

Operating your appliance without these components in place, or with significantly damaged components, may:

  • Cause damage to the stove body
  • Reduce efficiency and performance
  • Significantly shorten the lifespan of the appliance

Use of the appliance in this condition will invalidate any remaining warranty.


4. Outdoor Use & Materials

RB73 products are designed for outdoor use only.

Many products are manufactured from CorTen steel, which is designed to develop a natural, weathered finish over time.

This process may include:

  • Surface rusting
  • Colour variation
  • Run-off that may stain surrounding surfaces

This is a natural characteristic of the material and is not considered a fault.

We recommend placing your product on a suitable surface and allowing for potential runoff during the weathering process.


5. Installation Responsibility

Unless otherwise agreed, installation is the responsibility of the customer.

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe positioning
  • Adequate clearance from combustible materials
  • Stable and suitable ground conditions
  • Compliance with any local regulations

Incorrect installation may void your warranty.


6. Aftercare & Maintenance

To ensure the longevity of your RB73 product, we recommend:

  • Regularly removing ash and debris
  • Using dry, suitable fuel only
  • Avoiding overfilling or overfiring
  • Keeping air vents clear and unobstructed
  • Periodically checking internal components for wear or damage

Over time, your product will develop a natural patina. This is part of the design and does not affect performance.
