Typically the steel gradually weathers within 2–4 months, creating a protective outer layer that enhances both durability and appearance.

We would suggest placing it on a temporary surface or allow for drainage until the patina finish stabilises.

Depending on your log length as to if you can fit 1 row or 2 rows of logs inside the Ker, it will comfortably carry 30KG of wood at a time approx 0.2m³
