Measuring 94cm wide x 74cm deep, this larger floor plate is ideal for RB73 outdoor stoves and provides a practical, attractive base that complements the weathered appearance of Corten steel appliances.
Manufactured from 2mm thick premium Rusted Corten Steel, it is designed to withstand year-round outdoor conditions while developing the distinctive protective patina that makes Corten steel so popular.
The floor plate helps catch hot embers that may fall from the firebox during loading or refuelling and also helps distribute the weight of the stove over a larger surface area.
Please note that this floor plate is designed primarily to protect against falling embers rather than to provide thermal insulation beneath the stove. For RB73 outdoor wood burners, additional heat protection beneath the appliance is generally not required.
Important: We do not recommend placing Rusted Corten Steel floor plates directly onto patios or composite decking, as prolonged contact between the weathering steel and the surface may cause staining.
Although designed to complement RB73 products, this floor plate is also suitable for many other outdoor stoves with similar dimensions.

Yes — RB73 Quaruba & Fennek stoves can be converted from a 4-sided to a 3-sided configuration (and back again) by replacing one of the back/side panels. This uses the same process as swapping a panel, as outlined in the RB73 repair manual.
Replacing glass in an RB73 stove depends on the model and location: door glass is removed using pop-out clips, while side and rear panels (on certain models) lift out or are unbolted first. In all cases, the new glass must sit perfectly flat with no wobble—there are no rope seals or tightening involved.
