Quaruba XL Mobile

Our Quaruba XL Mobile outdoor woodburner combines increased heat output and a taller flame view with the flexibility of a mobile platform. Featuring the same architectural design, finishes, and glass configurations as the Quaruba range, it delivers a more powerful fire with the freedom to reposition it as needed.

A more powerful fire, with flexible placement.

Mobile Platform for Flexible Placement

Fitted with a purpose-built mobile base, the Quaruba XL can be moved easily to suit your space, seating arrangement, or changing conditions. Whether you’re following the sun, adjusting for guests, or reconfiguring your layout, the stove moves with you.

This added flexibility allows you to enjoy a larger, more powerful fire without being tied to a fixed position.

Flexible Viewing: Central or Against a Wall

The Quaruba XL Mobile is available in both 4-sided and 3-sided glass configurations, allowing you to tailor it to your space. The 4-sided version is ideal for open placement, offering a full view of the fire from every angle.

The 3-sided version is designed for use near a wall, with a solid rear panel and firebrick lining to improve heat retention. An optional heat shield is available to allow placement closer to combustible surfaces where required.

Premium Materials and Practical Details

Available in CorTen steel or stainless steel finishes, the Quaruba XL Mobile is built for long-term outdoor use. CorTen develops a natural, weathered patina over time, while stainless steel options offer a cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

The mobile platform is designed to support the stove securely while allowing smooth movement, combining durability with usability. It’s a practical addition that enhances how the stove is used, without changing what makes it a Quaruba.

Taller Firebox, Greater Heat Output

With an increased firebox height compared to the Quaruba L, the XL allows for larger logs and a greater fuel load. This enables the stove to generate more heat and sustain a stronger fire over longer periods.

It’s designed for those who want a more powerful fire experience, particularly when heating larger outdoor areas or entertaining for extended periods.

Architectural Design, Elevated and Flexible

The Quaruba XL Mobile builds on the clean, architectural form of the Quaruba range, with a taller profile that adds greater presence to your outdoor space. Its balanced proportions and refined design make it a strong focal point, whether placed centrally or repositioned as needed.

Mounted on a dedicated mobile platform, it combines this increased scale with the flexibility to adapt your layout—bringing both structure and freedom to your outdoor setup.

Handmade in Holland

Handmade in Holland using 3mm thick Corten steel, every RB73 fire is built for long-term outdoor use—designed to handle the elements year after year, not just season to season.

This isn’t mass-produced garden heating. It’s a solid, heavy-gauge construction that develops character over time while continuing to perform—holding heat, maintaining structure, and ageing exactly as it should.

And when others stop at the product, we go further—offering a full range of spare parts and accessories to support your fire well into the future.

Built to last. Designed to stay.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Quaruba XL Mobile features a taller firebox, allowing for larger logs, increased heat output, and a more extended flame view. It’s designed for those who want greater performance while retaining the flexibility of the mobile platform, making it the ideal choice for larger spaces or those wanting a more powerful fire with flexible placement.

Yes. The mobile platform is designed for smooth movement across flat, stable surfaces such as patios or decking. For uneven ground, the fixed-leg version may be more suitable.

The Quaruba XL Mobile is available in CorTen steel, which develops a natural rusted patina, as well as stainless steel in either a sandblasted matt silver or black painted finish.

The 4-sided version offers a full view of the fire from all angles and is ideal for open placement. The 3-sided version has a solid rear panel with firebrick lining, making it better suited for positioning near a wall.

Yes. The 3-sided version is designed for this purpose, and an optional heat shield is available to allow closer placement to combustible materials where required.

Yes. A built-in airwash system helps keep the glass clear while the fire is burning, maintaining a clean view of the flames.

No. Its closed combustion system and chimney create a strong draw, carrying smoke up and away from the seating area for a more comfortable experience.

Can You Convert an RB73 Stove from 4-Sided to 3-Sided?

Yes — RB73 Quaruba & Fennek stoves can be converted from a 4-sided to a 3-sided configuration (and back again) by replacing one of the back/side panels. This uses the same process as swapping a panel, as outlined in the RB73 repair manual.

How to Replace Glass in an RB73 Stove

Replacing glass in an RB73 stove depends on the model and location: door glass is removed using pop-out clips, while side and rear panels (on certain models) lift out or are unbolted first. In all cases, the new glass must sit perfectly flat with no wobble—there are no rope seals or tightening involved.
