Designed to fix directly to the rear panel of the stove, the heat shield is supplied complete with the four required mounting fixings for straightforward installation.
When used in conjunction with the matching Quaruba XXL Concrete Side Bricks, the heat shield significantly reduces heat transfer to the rear of the stove, allowing the minimum installation distance behind the appliance to be reduced to 100mm from combustible materials, such as timber fences, garden walls and wooden structures.

Yes — RB73 Quaruba & Fennek stoves can be converted from a 4-sided to a 3-sided configuration (and back again) by replacing one of the back/side panels. This uses the same process as swapping a panel, as outlined in the RB73 repair manual.
